Every system you were born into — the financial system, the surveillance economy, the administrative state — was designed with a specific kind of person in mind: one who participates without questioning, and who remains just comfortable enough to never seriously consider leaving. Dependence is not a flaw in these systems. It is the product. Your compliance is the revenue model.
This does not need to be a conspiracy; it requires only that institutions act in their own interest. The state is not your guardian. The bank is not your partner. The platform is not your community. They are entities designed to harvest what they can from you, and discard the shell.
Opting out is the only guarantee. The only position that cannot be revoked is the one you hold yourself — money in your own custody, personal privacy, and the means to defend and provide for those who depend on you maintained without reference to anyone else's permission or continued goodwill.
The state will not save you. Your future is not a burden — your freedom has always been something you get to design, or never have at all. Stability is to be chosen daily — deliberately, repeatedly, and without permission. The person who controls his finances, protects his household, and has built genuine provision for his dependents does not fear the future. Own your keys. Own your means. Own your life.
